Life moves on . The ospreys in Jamestown have given birth to two new osprey. While there is a third in the nest I believe that one of them is a stray bird that has joined the family as it appears it is also an adult bird. The mother appears to have been teaching them to fly so they would be ready to make their way out into the world. Isn't this something we all to do eventually with our own children. We have to give them the tools to leave the "nest" so they can"fly" on their own out into the world. Unlike the osprey we are hesitant to let our children leave the nest. We are afraid for them. We sometimes feel the tools that we have given them are not enough to show them the way. We are afraid to let them take the chance to spread their wings.
